30 Days of Fur {Lazy Sunday & Rainy Monday}

By {Molly}

Vest {Gap old, Similar Here} // Leggings {Gold Hawk old, Similar Here} // TShirt {LNA} // Cardigan {Gold Hawk old, Similar Here} // Shoes {Keds for Madewell sold out, Similar Here}

Vest {Gap old, Similar Here} // Leggings {Gold Hawk, Similar Here} // TShirt {LNA} // Chambray Shirt {JCrew} // Glasses {RayBan}

I wasn't planning on doing this but after a party full weekend the only time I left my apartment Sunday was to pick up Pei Wei and head to my boyfriends to watch football all day. Then, I woke up to rain on Monday and decided I was going to basically wear the same thing I wore Sunday with just a couple edits. Instead of boring you with 2 posts of essentially the same outfit I'm combining this into one. I'm just being real, this is something I would have done 2 weeks ago so why would I glamorize myself for this series? Not to beat a dead horse but the whole point was that we'd be real. It doesn't get much more real than this.

After unloading all of the Pei Wei on the coffee table {that had 4 sets of utensils... aka they thought 4 people were eating it} the boyfriend thought it would be such a good idea to take my picture with all my glory in front of me. Well, we did but let's just say even PhotoShop can't fix that much ugly {or at least I don't know how to yet}, so those pictures will go unseen. Maybe next Sunday?

The main point of this post is that you can wear a fur vest in a casual way and not look like you're trying to be Beyonce. You can wear them with your favorite Keds and a tshirt to dress up your leggings look just a tiny bit, but you're still comfy as ever {which is really the most important thing}.

I promise tomorrows outfit will be more exciting. I wish I had had a 3 day weekend but I've finally recovered fully.

Molly

30 Days of Fur {Day 2 // Tailgate Time}

By {Molly}

Jeans {7 For All Mankind} // Top {Retro Brand} // Vest {BB Dakota old, Similar Here} // Boots {Kors by Michael Kors old, Similar Here} // Bag {Target}

Since most people who went to Kansas State are die hard fans we obviously went to the watch party Saturday to watch our game against Iowa State. There is nothing I love more than watching football, especially Kansas State football. No, we may not be the best team ever this year but no one who truly is a fan stops from watching our games every Saturday. Luckily, we pulled out a 41 - 7 victory which made our day drinking day that much more fun.

Now, time for the elephant in the room.  I'm not a great poser in front of the camera. If you had to watch Moo {who took the pics while she was in town} or the boyfriend taking my pictures for this you'd most likely die of awkwardness. It's painful to get through and super painful to watch. In light of the whole point of this blog, in this post I've shown you my awkwardness in all it's glory. Yes, I did jump up to grab that tree branch. Yes, I could have grabbed it with both feet on the ground. Yes, the tree branch fell because you know it was a pretty skinny branch, not really equipped for a girl to jump up and grab it.

Something I hope to get out of 30 Days of Fur is to become more comfortable in front of the camera solo. Will I ever be adorable like Courtney Kerr? Doubtful... but at least I can try to not make people want to jump off a building by watching the process.

30 Days of Fur {Day 1 Outfit 2 // Night on the Town}

By {Molly}

Shorts {Line & Dot} // Tank {LNA} // Vest {Rebecca Taylor thrifted, Similar Here} // Shoes {Sole Society} // Jewelry {Vanessa Mooney}

Ok so I know these are a little out of order but you're going to have to forgive me. As mentioned in the last post my one of my best friends Moo was in town all weekend which left 0 blogging time. As promised though I have captured all of my outfits.

She got to town around 8pm Friday night so the next move was immediately to go out.  This outfit didn't go as planned, but I think it turned out well! I was planning on wearing a different {long sleeve} top underneath but ended up liking the grey tank instead. Luckily I live in Dallas so the weather {while a little chilly...} allowed for shorts and a tank in November.

These booties are some of my favorite {and that's saying a lot because I love a good bootie}.  They are from Sole Society which is quickly becoming my go to for shoes. I have now bought about 6 pairs of shoes from them. Now before you judge me, they randomly and occasionally have AMAZING sales. I think most of the shoes I got from there were $50 or less.  They have all been comfortable and wear very well considering you're getting such a good price for them!

30 Days of Fur {Day 2 Outfit 2}

Jean {7 For All Mankind} // Top {LNA} // Vest {Jenny Han, Similar Here} // Shoes {Steve Madden, Similar Here} // Jewelry {Vanessa Mooney}

Wait? Did I skip a couple? I did. My friend Moo is in town and I'm going to be honest.... I've drank most of the weekend.  Well the party must go on and we went from the watch party with a few stops to the "Halloween" party. No, I'm not dressed up as anything but myself. After many drinks and a couple shots I'm not writing much else. Happy game day friends!

30 Days of Fur {Day 1 // Simple & Sweet}

By {Molly}

Jeans {7 For All Mankind} // Vest {Thrifted, Similar Here} // Top {Old JCrew, Similar Here} // Booties {Old Steve Madden, Similar Here} // All Jewelry {Vanessa Mooney} // Sunnies {Old, Similar Here}

Today is the day. November 1st marks day 1 of 30 Days of Fur! I realized a couple days ago this doesn't mean just 30 outfits... no sir. It means probably closer to 45 outfits of fur and I pledge to take pics and post all of them. So here's my day 1 work outfit. There will also be a day 1 night-out outfit considering it's a Friday.  Luckily I work in a super casual office so I can basically wear whatever I want {within reason}. I decided to start off the month with something pretty basic and casual. It's an easy fur vest outfit that can be translated into any style.  Even if a fur vest scares you this one is extremely easy to pull off and proves that literally anyone on the planet can get away with a fur vest {haters be gone}.

Second order of business. I want to introduce you to my favorite fur vest of all time.  I got this vest last year at a thrift store in Dallas and haven't looked back since. She was probably my 6th fur vest but it was love at first sight. She's Rebecca Taylor and I got her for about $60. A steal if you consider it was originally $345. You will see her probably 75-80% of this month. Just being honest. {And yes I call my fur vests her... again haters be gone}.

You probably know this if you follow us on Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram {and if you don't.... what are you thinking? Do that now} but I have decided to link my 30 Days of Fur to a cause very close to my heart, Movember, which is changing the face of mens health.  If you want to donate to the cause check out my Mo Page here. I appreciate every contribution, big or small! Also, if you want to get in on the action use #Furvember everytime you show your support and wear fur in November! I will periodically post my favs right here on the blog!

Real last order of business. Thanks to the boyfriend for being a trooper and taking my pictures, today and many other days he gladly {hah} agrees to.

xoxo,
Molly
